Oh the bliss of life with three littles...ok...well...the excitement...well if we're being honest...the chaos! Life changed drastically just a little over four months ago, and if I'm not careful I forget to remember the amazing journey it has been to get us to where we are currently. I was reminiscing through pictures of the day of Leah's birth and came across the pictures of our friends and family wearing their "Adopted" shirts that day. I was instantly brought to tears at the vast amount of love and support our girl had before these people ever met her. One of my greatest fears for her was that of acceptance...would she be accepted, would she be rejected, would she experience the hurt of favoritism as she got older, will she know and understand her differences in a way that hurts her or helps her??? However, the day of her birth, all of those fears were silenced for a time. I'm sure we will revisit those from time to time, but the reassurance our body of support gave was priceless.
Short post today, just remembering to be thankful amidst the wonderful chaos. Thank you friends and family who loved our girl before any of us even knew her!
